Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree In lieu of an associate's degree HS diploma with previous supervisory experience.
  • 2 years Relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to implement all policies and procedures effectively.
  • Ability to compose business communications (reports, memos, letters, and e-mails).
  • Ability to plan effectively, set appropriate priorities, and manage several complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, including electronic medical record (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of medical office practice operations, including but not limited to, personnel management, patient scheduling, and insurance regulations.
  • Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Manages practice scheduling, overtime, and access concerns.
  • Responds proactively to associate feedback and suggestions including satisfaction surveys and patient service recovery.
  • Ensures colleagues follow all standard work for all practice workflows.
  • Conducts regular performance appraisals and provides feedback and coaching for all direct reports.
  • Ensures staff receive adequate training to perform jobs to meet expectations.
  • Identifies talent and helps develop future leaders for the organization.
  • Attempts to resolve conflicts between staff and/or providers, in collaboration with managers and administration.
  • Strives to efficiently accommodate interruptions and changing priorities.
