About The Position

The Site Merchandising Manager will be responsible for partnering with the DGMN Operations team to ensure accurate execution of vendor campaigns across DG.com and the DG App. In addition, this role will oversee all content published on DG.com and the DG App, including digital and in‑store commerce, as well as engaging content that highlights product collections for seasonal selling moments and promotional deals.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce merchandising, with 4-6 years’ experience
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting in ecommerce merchandising performance to maximize sales growth
  • Experience in PIM Tools, BloomReach, Adobe Experience Manager or comparable CMS tools a plus.
  • Experience testing merchandising strategies to ensure optimal shopping experience for different audiences
  • An entrepreneurial mentality, willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is needed to meet goals.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute projects end-to-end
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team and communicate priorities clearly
  • High degree of proficiency in MS office suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc…)
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, merchandising, or marketing with at least 2 years in digital applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of onsite DGMN campaigns including Homepage and Landing page experiences, Digital Shelves & DG Stories
  • Identify opportunities to improve key site metrics – conversion rate, sales per visit, abandon cart rate, etc.
  • Identify and implement site merchandising tools to deliver a relevant experience for multi-platform guest experience
  • Report on monthly performance and provide recommendations on improving overall site experience
  • Collaborate with site merchandising and marketing teams to ensure the site represents the seasonal added value strategies
  • Collaborate with catalog team to optimize product assortment and site presentation strategy across categories to digital shelves are optimal and customer facing
  • Other projects that may arise that drive overall company objectives
