About The Position

Jefferson‑Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking to hire two Site Operations Coordinators to help lead, strengthen and support our Head Start sites across Jefferson and Franklin counties. Locations will be geographically assigned. This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone who values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement in early childhood programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between sites and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support assigned Team Supervisors
  • Provide reflective supervision and professional development
  • Maintain a regular on‑site presence at Head Start centers to support staff and monitor compliance
  • Ensure facilities meet federal, state, and local licensing and safety requirements
  • Coordinate site projects including renovations, maintenance, and playground improvements
  • Monitor operational, facilities, and equipment data in internal systems (CAMP, HUB, etc.)
  • Partner with leadership and HR to address personnel issues and policy concerns
  • Resolve staff and family concerns with professionalism and care
  • Support program planning, audits, reporting, and self‑assessment activities
  • Provide training and technical assistance during Pre‑Service, In‑Service, and PD days
