We are seeking a Site Reliability & Maintenance Leader for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Anderson, SC. This position will be responsible to set the tone and champion the culture of reliability and maintenance excellence, ensuring strong, consistent asset performance through development of people, process, and optimal reliability of equipment in all functional areas of the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related equivalent and progressive experience in reliability and maintenance functions with demonstrated, objective results
  • Prior leader experiences demonstrating growth in people leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record of building, applying, and verifying use of best practices, standards, & processes to ensure compliance and results
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Capable of building, selling, and aligning areas on strategies
  • Effective, timely communication to team members and customers
  • Focus on customer needs in a highly supportive manner as a key support resource

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and business leadership to ensure a “no surprises” environment, that delivers the highest possible OEE, particularly focused on downtime and stops elimination.
  • Develop and upgrade team members skill sets in a manner that builds knowledge and capability to permanently resolve people, process, and equipment challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of reliability and maintenance resources in partnership with operations to identify reactive loss areas, developing and deploying long-term, permanent corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and improve reliability and maintenance activities to ensure they align and meet long-term business and performance needs.
  • Ensure consistent and appropriate application of best practices in reliability and maintenance, building a proactive and loss elimination mindset.
  • Ensure team appropriately engages in continuous improvement activity, particularly serving as technical SMEs in RCA, FMEA, and design review needs.
  • Actively engage in project development to ensure new or significantly modified equipment adequately accounts for reliability, maintainability, and total lowest life cycle cost needs.
