About The Position

We are looking for a Site Supply Chain Manager to join our Automotive Coatings team in Greenville, OH. BASF’s Coatings LLC is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass substrates for a wide range of industries. Located at our Greenville, OH site, you’ll be responsible for leading and optimizing North America planning processes including import and toll planning, supply chain reporting, demand planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and regional inventory strategy. In addition, the role will lead third party warehouses and manage our off-site tote cleaning vendors and operations. As a key leader for the supply chain team, you directly support our customers and manufacturing site needs in addition to working within a globally aligned process. This role is critical in aligning our S&OP processes with business strategy, driving demand accuracy, and enhancing supply chain performance across the Americas region.You create chemistry by... Owning and optimize global and regional S&OP processes aligned with business strategy and KPIs and driving demand planning with customer and account teams to improve forecast accuracy Implementing digitalization and artificial intelligence within planning and reporting processes Monitoring and improving EC Americas inventory performance, including forecasting and managing dysfunctional inventory Leading strategy, operations, and vendor relationships with ECO tollers, third-party cleaners, parts vendors, and warehouses Providing direction and training to planners and schedulers on materials management tools and SAP best practices Resolving issues across OEM customers, warehouses, manufacturing sites, and third-party cleaning suppliers

Requirements

Have a Supply Chain or Business, or related field Bachelor’s degree.
Have 10+ years' experience in a supply chain field or logistics facility/warehouse environment. Automotive or chemical are strongly preferred.
Proven leadership focused on continuous improvement, change management, associate development and creating a positive culture.
Demonstrated project coordination and time management, multi-tasking, and delivering on commitments. Must be comfortable in a dynamic setting with diverse personalities.
Solid analytical skills with a LEAN mindset and knowledge of current SCM concepts and SAP/ERP systems. Expertise launching digital tools and SAP highly preferred.
