About The Position
Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our Tampa team! You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing skilled trades / construction professionals for select high profile clients. We’re looking for someone with established sourcing and recruiting experience within the skilled trades / construction industry, impeccable customer service skills, and one who is experienced in adjusting quickly to new demands and direction throughout the work week. Location: Onsite in our Tampa office (5830 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607) Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000 (depending on experience) Incentive: $2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/commission Hours: 40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed) Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off
Requirements
- 2+ years recruiting skilled trades / construction roles (we are not considering those with light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, etc. backgrounds)
- Strong sourcing skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure when addressing regular high-demand requests and needs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly

Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
- Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
- Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience
- Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines
