Requirements

Prior money handling and customer service experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly.
Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Creates and ensures a fun-filled entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Circulates throughout the area assigned, including the smoking atrium, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
Responsible for making jackpot payoffs, e-ticket paper fills and minor machine repairs.
Records and logs any VLT machines that are not working.
Responsible for carrying an adequate amount of currency in their change wallet to make change for large denominations of currency or exchanges of currency at customer’s request.
Responsible to ensure Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
Responsible for accurate payment and documentation of jackpot payouts.
Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cage department and customers
Complies with State Lottery Regulations and Company Internal Controls.
Knowledgeable and actively promotes company marketing and promotional events and are proficient in answering guest questions.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
