About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Slot Technician I to join our dynamic team in Kenner, United States. As a Slot Technician I, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic gaming machines while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and gaming regulations.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Basic understanding of electronic and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses and certifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Capable of stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Able to push, pull, and maneuver up to 80 pounds
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Demonstrated safety awareness and compliance mindset
Nice To Haves
- One year of slot machine maintenance or related technical experience preferred
- Graduate of slot repair school or equivalent technical program preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic gaming machines and related equipment
- Respond to and resolve floor calls efficiently and independently
- Execute immediate, periodic, and overhaul maintenance procedures
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and diagnose common machine faults
- Identify electronic issues at the board level and escalate complex problems appropriately
- Read and interpret technical documentation and repair manuals
- Operate two-way radio systems for effective communication
- Stay current with new slot products and equipment updates
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
- Follow established safety protocols and gaming regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal gaming floor operations
