Smart Home AV Technician & Installer - Luxury Residential
About The Position
Luxury Residential $28–$42 per hour based on experience + $100 per overnight travel night This is an hourly, non-exempt role If you take pride in craftsmanship and want steady, year-round work with a strong team, this is for you. Requirements
- 2+ years hands-on installation experience in residential AV, low-voltage, electrical, or construction
- Strong wiring, rack-building, and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional presence with clients, builders, and designers
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Lutron, Sonos, Savant, or residential networking preferred
Responsibilities
- Install TVs, speakers, motorized shades, lighting control, and networking equipment
- Build and wire AV racks with precision
- Terminate and label low-voltage wiring cleanly
- Assist with programming and final system commissioning
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and solve problems professionally
- Work inside finished luxury homes where care and attention matter
