This position will serve as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within the Institute for Trauma Recovery in the Department of Psychiatry. The Institute for Trauma Recovery seeks to advance understanding of trauma recovery and develop interventions that improve recovery. The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the execution of study protocols, including screening and recruiting study participants, conducting study visits, and collecting, entering, and reviewing study data. The primary purpose of this position is to support the PIs, Institute Managing Director, Research Project Manager, and lead coordinators on several current and pending research projects. Duties will include supporting the lead coordinator with study start-up activities, assisting in conducting study activities, tracking patients in the study, conducting telephone surveys with enrolled participants, screening potentially eligible patients and consenting patients, as well as maintaining accurate and updated manuals of procedures for the studies.
