About The Position

Under the general supervision of the General Manager and Manager of Events, maintain and update social media – keeping all pages and outlets up to date with current and correct information. Working closely with event managers to keep Golden Spike and Weber County Fair websites and social media pages live and accurate. Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all duties which may be found in positions of this class. Applicants must be prepared to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Education: Some college preferred
Experience: ne (1) to two (2) years of Social Media Management experience.
Knowledge of: Basic knowledge of all social media platforms. Understanding of Wix and Word Press websites. Some photography and videography.
Skills and Abilities to: Ability to communicate with the general public in a pleasant and professional manner. Ability to follow direction and work well with others. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Monitor social media channels.
Host contests and ticket giveaways.
Develop digital content.
Help in maintaining Wix/Word Press websites, Trumba calendar, and other digital platforms.
