Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Specialist
Job Status: Regular, 10 months
Job Summary:
The Social Media and Marketing Specialist will tell the story of Copper Mountain and Woodward Copper using their love of social media and the latest insights and trends in the social space. Must be an enthusiastic and avid social media/internet user with a vast understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Periscope, etc.) Design program experience and knowledge is a plus (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator). In addition, the Social Media and Marketing Specialist will update the Marketing information on the daily Snow Report email 5 days a week. The Social Media and Marketing Specialist will oversee updates and overall maintenance of the Copper Mountain Resort mobile app.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Dissemination of social media campaigns for Copper Mountain including blog inclusion, social network initiatives, social news participation and mobile device marketing.
* Create social strategies and campaigns and execute these items properly.
* Assist Woodward Marketing Supervisor and Woodward Content Specialist in execution of social media efforts on Woodward Copper channels.
* Maintain partner, sponsor and third party social requirements, schedules and executes requirements properly.
* Reach target audiences through various social mediums to create conversations and communities about snow, resort happenings and other year-round activities.
* Tracking and monitoring the success of online initiatives (i.e. impressions, reach and influence) and provide weekly reports for the Marketing Team.
* Maintain a consistent brand voice, style and graphic presence.
* Work with Marketing Team to develop timely, consistent, unique and quality content.
* Keep up-to-date on social media trends and products and help to identify engagement and revenue producing opportunities within social media.
* Recommend digital/social media strategies as needed and as opportunities are presented.
* Respond to users and guests in a timely manner across all channels.
* Assist in marketing collateral projects as assigned.
* Maintain consist communication with third party photographer and videographer to ensure all social channels feature up-to-date and creative content.
* Work with other departments throughout Copper Mountain Resort to help develop content.
* Responsible for Marketing updates within the Copper Snow Report 5 days a week.
* Responsible for maintenance of the Copper Mountain mobile app. This includes but is not limited to content, structure and both content and functionality updates.
* Function as an ambassador of Copper Mountain, modeling and sharing the Copper "culture" with our guests and employees.
* Uphold the most professional image.
* Continually strives to exceed our guest's expectations and create memories for our guests and staff.

Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
* Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. of material when necessary.
* Advanced or expert skiing and/or riding ability.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing and/or Communications with one to three years in social media, new media or online communications experience
* Interactive, Web and Public Relations skills preferred
* Knowledge of online technology with particular interest in blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, mobile and other emerging trends
* Management of a professional blog or social channels for an organization and/or business
* Management of a mobile app for an organization and/or business
* Strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills
* Passion for new media that will be infectious among colleagues, clients and prospects
