Social Media Summer Intern
About The Position
Kick-start your career at GameChanger! Serving youth sports communities, our app is used to score and live stream millions of games each year. Join us for a 2025 internship where you can have an impact and grow your skills for the road that lies ahead. GameChanger is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Intern to help amplify our presence across platforms like Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports, digital trends, and storytelling. You'll report to our Social Media Lead and support the team in creating, curating, and scheduling content while engaging with our growing community of players, coaches, and fans.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic design or video editing experience (e.g., PhotoShop, CapCut).
- Passion for sports and understanding of youth sports culture is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of real-time content during live events and product launches.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tagged posts across all platforms to foster a positive brand presence.
- Track post-performance and assist in compiling weekly reports.
- Provide recommendations for content optimization based on trends and data insights.
- Learn how to contribute to a data driven impact model.
- Work with great people, an awesome product, and have lots of fun together along the way!
