About The Position

We are hiring a full-time Social Science/Humanities Research Associate I in the department of Psychology. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail; show proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working both independently as well as with a team. The Social Science/Humanities Research Associate I will be provided with training in clinical assessments and will gain experience in general research administration and the preparation of publications and conference presentations. This position is well-suited for individuals interested in pursuing graduate study in clinical psychology. Please contact Drs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Prior research experience (including experience as a student).
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior research experience in a psychology lab.
  • Previous experience with data management and use of software programs for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating recruitment efforts for ongoing clinical trials
  • Organizing and overseeing data collection and study protocols
  • Conducting clinical interviews and assessments
  • Maintaining and revising IRB protocols and assisting with research compliance reports and procedures
  • Management, cleaning, and preparation of data collected via online survey platforms
  • Supervision of undergraduate students conducting data entry and other tasks
  • Interfacing with research and clinical staff to maintain effective communication regarding participant scheduling, data management, and quality control.
