About The Position

This position may be located anywhere in the state of Oklahoma. Social Services Specialist Annual Salary: Level I H20A: $36,811.95 + Full State Employee Benefits Level II H20B: $39,571.76 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications: Social Services Specialist I A Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in professional social work for each year of the required education. Social Services Specialist II A Master's degree; OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in professional social work; OR an equivalent combination of education and social work, substituting one year of professional social work for each year of the required education. Providing social services to clients with intellectual disabilities by assessing needs and determining eligibility for Specialized Foster Care or Agency Companion services. Develops new Specialized Foster Care homes. Managing a case load requiring both broad and specialized knowledge of all social service programs, including maintaining contractual compliance of OKDHS-approved specialized foster and companion homes. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
  • Social Services Specialist I A Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in professional social work for each year of the required education.

Responsibilities

  • Providing social services to clients with intellectual disabilities by assessing needs and determining eligibility for Specialized Foster Care or Agency Companion services.
