This position plays a vital role in supporting families by enrolling eligible participants in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, which provides nutritious food benefits, nutrition education, and referrals to essential health and social services for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age five. The incumbent serves as a point of contact for clients, handling appointment scheduling, client interviews, data entry in the WIC computer system, and benefit issuance for active participants. Success in this role requires strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, and the capacity to manage frequent 15-minute appointments while multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
