About The Position
A Social Work career with NewYork-Presbyterian’s Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) is dynamic and often unpredictable, bringing new challenges to each and every day. There are several paths for success—and countless opportunities to impact the children we serve We are seeking a Social Worker for our Outpatient Pediatric clinic which includes both medically and socially complex cases. The Pediatric Social Worker will utilize clinical skills to forge meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Position involves a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to biopsychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, risk assessment and treatment planning, crisis interventions, outreach/referrals to community providers, and other case management services. This role must work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team. Position may involve work across the entire Pediatric/Adolescent and Women’s Health Practice depending on need. Social worker will be responsible for in-person and telehealth visits. This is a day shift (9:00 AM -5:00 PM), Monday to Friday position with 1 to 3 days per week of delayed schedule (11:00 AM -7:00 PM).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
- Licensure required as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York
