Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Providing individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Conducting assessments to identify students in need of support and intervention
• Developing and implementing intervention plans to promote students well-being and academic success
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students social-emotional development
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students goals and accommodations
• Connecting students and families with community resources and support services as needed
