About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Sod Delivery Driver to transport and deliver sod to job sites and customers. This role requires hands-on work, including securing loads and assisting with unloading. Ideal candidates will have strong driving experience, a clean record, and a willingness to work in a physically active environment. JOB DESCRIPTION Hours may vary day to day based on multiple factors Regional travel - home 99% of the time with exception of rare out-of-town projects Will operate a Flatbed Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport sod to customer locations Load, secure, strap, and unstrap sod loads for transport Deliver materials to residential, commercial, and job site locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Assist with yard duties and equipment operation as needed Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Current DOT Medical Card Must be at least 21 years of age Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating a front-end loader
  • Previous experience delivering sod, landscaping materials, or construction supplies
  • Familiarity with local routes and job site deliveries
