I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Applications Test Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in software design and peer reviews
- Develop test specifications and infrastructure
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Perform analysis of program implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing)
- Occasional travel between Colorado Springs facilities/sites and between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL is expected
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) or significant professional experience; Master's degree highly desired
- 5 years of professional experience
- IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of start (strictly enforced)
- Prior experience in an Agile development process
- Prior experience testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems
- Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data
- Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
- Documenting software deficiency reports
- Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)
- Automated testing for requirement verification
- Performance requirement and verification analysis
- Verification of ICD and interface requirements
- Experience in a DevSecOps environment extremely desirable
- Knowledge and experience in testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development
