You will be responsible for developing user experiences that affect millions of travelers every day. This role will be required to work from our Concord, MA office at least 3 days per week. In this role you will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math)
  • 8+ years developing web applications using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (with a preference for TypeScript)
  • 8+ years working with React (or a comparable modern UI framework)
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks to improve day-to-day job functions
  • Expertise with end-to-end testing and test-driven development
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to guide teams through architectural transitions
  • Debug issues in a full-stack environment
  • Produce high quality and accurate work
  • Break down complicated tasks into actionable, accurately-estimated deliverables
  • Communicate complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Process, store and manipulate large sets of data
  • Work within an agile development process
  • Develop working relationships with cross-functional teammates
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and grow from feedback

Responsibilities

  • Work on the Cars product, used by millions of people across the globe
  • Become a product expert in your vertical, collaborating with designers, product managers, and commercial stakeholders
  • Have end-to-end ownership of the UI, including testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting production issues
  • Drive technical debt reduction and improve code quality
  • Leverage AI coding tools to take your efficiency to the next level
  • Strive for high quality solutions for yourself, and the team with mentorship, pull request reviews, and architectural design assistance
