Location ZipCode: 98073 Job Description: Requirements: - Experience with Cosmos (big data, Scope, c#, XFlow or Sangam) desired; if not Cosmos, then familiarization and experience with big data structures and programming (e.g. Hadoop, Pig, Hive, etc.) required. - 3-5 years of experience - Big data, C#, and D3 derivative reporting experience. Responsibilities: - Cosmos administration â user administration; VC / Queue / Job management; generation of utilization (compute, storage, user, job, etc.) reports - Products / tools impacted: WaaS (Mission Control, Flighting, Measure metrics), Feedback / Qualitative (WXaaS, NPS, WaaS Feedback), and Insights Factory Projects - Verification of the health of the Virtual Cluster (VC) - Priority & prod jobs within SLA - Queue lengths within reason - Jobs running in the correct queue at the correct priority - ideally, develop a tool / report to automate this and have a near real time status - Admin users as appropriate: Handle requests to join VC; expire people out as necessary - Generate compute, usage, storage, user and job reports (will need to write these at some point); ID an react to anomalies. - Verify storage vs. budget / allocation â apply data retention policies as appropriate. - Handle ad hoc requests such as: - Create shares w/ other VCs - Work with data scientists / SWEs to optimize Scope jobs (the written scope, configuration for running most efficiently, etc.) - Work with SEs for registration / configuration of Cosmos streams into CSM tool (Cosmos Stream Management) - Work on backlog of admin tools and reports Req No: 2016-2177 External Company Name: adaQuest, Inc.
