Responsibilities

  • Work independently and alongside teams in Music, Amazon, and third-party to architect and develop large-scale solutions.
  • Delight customers through voice and visual experiences.
  • Coach other engineers and develop engineering and operational processes.
  • Encourage excellence within the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Experience developing native mobile applications on iOS or Android using Swift/ObjC or Kotlin/Java.
  • Experience developing cross-platform technologies, including React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform / Compose Multiplatform.
  • Experience developing backend services using Java, NodeJs.
  • Experience with building large scale distributed systems on AWS or any other cloud provider.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
