About The Position
TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Seattle seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer with advanced skills in C++, Python, Linux, and embedded development, including hardware integration. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering software for drone systems, with a strong focus on real-time operating systems and multi‑threaded programming. The engineer will own verification and validation (V&V) activities by defining test strategies, establishing V&V thresholds, developing and executing test plans, and reporting detailed results for complex sensing systems. Responsibilities include system‑level testing, sensor integration, and close interaction with hardware while adhering to best-practice engineering standards. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
