We have a rapidly growing customer base and an exciting charter in front of us that includes solving highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems. We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on this new service that addresses customer needs to build modern contact centers in the cloud. The position represents a rare opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing business soon after launch, and help shape the technology and product as we grow. You will be playing a crucial role in developing the next generation contact center, and get the opportunity to design and deliver scaleable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus. As a developer focused on testing on our team, you'll own code end-to-end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. There's an opportunity to create testing frameworks and streamline the testing of one of the most services used in Amazon Connect. You'll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving Amazon Bedrock, Large-Language Models (LLMs), NoSQL databases, MicroServices and more.

Responsibilities

  • Own code end-to-end from design to development.
  • Work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
  • Create testing frameworks and streamline the testing of Amazon Connect services.
  • Develop the next generation contact center technology.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
  • 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • Experience in penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience in platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment.
  • Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services.
