About The Position

As an IC3 Software Developer , you will work mostly independently and ship production features for internal tools and services. You’ll write secure, maintainable code, partner with other teams, and help improve how we build and run services for internal users. What you’ll do Build and improve internal web apps, services, and workflows used by OCI Strategic Customer Engineering teams. Write correct, secure, maintainable code and add the right tests Design and deliver features and small subsystems, end to end (design → build → deploy → operate)Use data and dashboards to track health, usage, and reliability of what you own Improve automation to reduce manual work and speed up repeatable tasks Learn new tools as needed. Some internal apps may be built in Oracle APEX (experience not required) What you’ll bring Strong experience in Java, C#, Go or Python (either is fine). Experience with at least two of the following: Database engineering (schema design, SQL queries, data access patterns) Web app development (APIs and/or UI) DevOps/SRE practices (CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, automation) Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and deliver working results. Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java, C#, Go or Python (either is fine).
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Database engineering (schema design, SQL queries, data access patterns) Web app development (APIs and/or UI) DevOps/SRE practices (CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, automation)
  • Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and deliver working results.
  • Good judgment on tradeoffs (security, reliability, performance, and delivery speed).
  • Clear communication and a practical, team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
  • Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
