About The Position

Collaborate with the Latin America (LAD) leadership to define strategies and frameworks for the region’s largest cloud-native customers, ensuring alignment between field demand, OCI product organizations, and executive sponsors. Evaluate and recommend OCI services for mission-critical workloads, focusing on scalability, performance, resilience, latency-sensitive designs, and compliance with LAD-specific regulatory and operational requirements. Support planning and execution of high-growth workloads and multi-region architectures. Partner with local sales engineering and field organizations to provide authoritative technical leadership across compute, networking, storage, databases, AI infrastructure, and cloud-native architectures. Support local teams with best-in-class cost optimization and security practices, including IAM design, network segmentation, encryption, auditing, and governance aligned with LAD financial, legal, and compliance frameworks. Identify and address key blockers preventing cloud migration or workload expansion. Work directly with TPMs, PMs, operations, networking, capacity teams, and OCI service owners to propose mitigations, accelerate feature delivery, and guide customers through production-grade solutions. Partner closely with OCI capacity and service teams to secure delivery of compute, GPU, storage, networking, and platform capabilities required for strategic LAD customers. Act as the technical interface for AI infrastructure strategic accounts in LAD, advising on GPU selection, LLM deployment, inference patterns, data pipelines, vector databases, and model-serving orchestration on OCI. Stay current with OCI platform enhancements and emerging industry trends. Represent OCI in executive-level conversations with LAD’s top customers and executives, in regional thought-leadership forums, and through technical publications and internal briefs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years architecting and implementing large-scale workloads on major cloud providers, with demonstrable hands-on experience across infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud-native ecosystems.
  • Proven track record leading strategic customer engagements in LAD, resolving complex production issues, and influencing product teams through structured, data-driven requirements.
  • Deep experience with Cloud-Native, Mission-Critical, and AI-infrastructure workloads, including GPU capacity planning, model deployment patterns, high-throughput pipelines, and distributed systems.
  • Expert understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational controls, with experience applying these in highly regulated industries in LAD.
  • Ability to own and drive resolution of systemic blockers, coordinating engineering, capacity, networking, and cross-functional orgs under high-pressure and high-visibility scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills, with proven ability to articulate complex challenges to VPs, SVPs, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product development cycles by synthesizing field insights into practical, customer-backed design requirements.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to co-design internal tools and frameworks that remove blockers and accelerate LAD cloud adoption, including migration assessment tooling and requirements management platforms.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a strong plus.
