Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join our SeaTac based team. This paid internship offers hands-on experience building real-world software solutions while learning from experienced developers in a collaborative and supportive environment. What You Will Be Doing Work closely with customers and senior-level developers to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design and development of quality/cost effective technical solutions. Ensure delivery of high-quality software by writing clean code and utilizing unit test, continuous integration and code reviews. Participate in component and architecture design, performance monitoring and product evaluation. Work with the software development team to complete project objectives. You will receive guidance from a platform developer throughout the project work. Able to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. Participate in learning and networking opportunities such as: Tours of our local Lynden Operating Companies. Informational lunches with executives across Operations, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Company Presidents. Assisting with employee events including the Lynden summer barbecue. Intern team building activities. Presenting group projects to Lynden executives. This is a paid, full-time internship (40 hours/ week) for 10-12 weeks. Attendance and punctuality are important to show you’re dedicated to learning.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate computer science program
  • At least 1 year college experience
  • Proficient in web development and technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Java Script, HTML and CSS

Responsibilities
