About The Position

Jupiter is thrilled to launch its 2026 Summer Internship Program! This will be a 10-week paid program starting June 8, 2026, and is open to rising college juniors and seniors who have an interest in renewable energy. To be eligible, candidates must be actively enrolled in a 4+ year bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027. Qualified candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be willing to work out of one of our Jupiter Power offices 4+ days per week throughout the Program. The 2026 Summer Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience from a leading company in the battery energy storage market. We are currently accepting applications for an intern to work with our Data science and Application team in Austin/Houston, TX. This individual will work alongside a team of talented developers and will gain the following experience: Organize, document, and maintain datasets, including metadata, data dictionaries, and usage guidelines. Design and develop simple web pages or interfaces to present and access data. Assist in improving data clarity, consistency, and accessibility for internal users. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into user-friendly solutions. Contribute to basic coding, testing, and debugging of web-based tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (in pursuit) in Computer Science, or related field with 3.5 GPA or higher.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interests and backgrounds
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
