About The Position

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting on customer experience data. Generate insights into how customers interact with Apple products and use these insights to drive improvements to user-facing features. Responsible for shaping strategic direction. Work across several disciplines. Work on all stages of data pipelines and work on building, optimizing and scaling App Store Ads related big data engineering projects. Work on a small team to develop large scale data pipelines and analytical solutions using Big Data technologies. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 - $210,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
  • Using programming languages including Java, Scala or Python.
  • Proficiency with SQL databases and NoSQL databases including Cassandra.
  • Using big data technologies including Spark, Spark Streaming, Hadoop, or Trino for distributed data processing.
  • Developing new algorithms and data structures to process large scale data.
  • Gathering multi-functional requirements and translating them into practical engineering tasks.
  • Translating design requirements into functional specifications.
  • Using data visualization, including formatting analytics data, and presenting data to senior engineers.
  • Debugging software using an interactive debugger, including Xcode/IntelliJ, to triage and reproduce client/server issues.
