The position involves designing and developing software for Apple's Customer Systems team using Object Oriented principles, Design Patterns, and Java/J2EE related Frameworks. The role requires designing, implementing, and unit testing Java/J2EE based applications for Apple's mission-critical customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Apple's Customer Systems team using Object Oriented principles, Design Patterns, and Java/J2EE related Frameworks.
• Design, implement and unit test Java/J2EE based applications for Apple's mission critical customer facing applications.
• Work with cross functional teams to analyze business requirements and convert them into engineering design specifications by producing class, sequence and component diagrams.
• Collaborate with geographically diverse teams to perform peer code reviews in Git tool.
• Develop deep understanding of AppleCare functional domain knowledge as part of the job.
• Keep up to date on new technologies and offer analysis of present or future benefit to Apple.
• Provide application support working with cross functional engineering and business teams during various testing and production phases of projects for a smooth production release.
