Under the supervision of the Technical Lead, the Software Development Engineer will serve as a core member of an engineering team to design the vision and roadmap of the software platform services central to the company’s core products and growth. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.

Responsibilities

  • Develop easy-to-use software platform, leveraging expertise with software languages, deployment systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Assess and validate software systems to ensure they adhere to the highest standard for security and compliance, collaborating with internal Infrastructure and Security teams, as needed.
  • Implement software systems that promote efficient practices and enable standardization across platform services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • 2 years of experience with software design, development, version control, testing, implementation, and debugging.
  • 1 year of experience with software programming in C#, Java, Kotlin, Scala, PHP, Python, Javascript, Typescript, React, and Bash.
  • 1 year of experience with designing and coding REST API.
  • 1 year of experience with designing and developing code tests, integration tests, and test automation using JMeter, JUnit, NUnit, and TestNG.
  • 1 year of experience with designing algorithms and data structures.
  • 1 year of experience with using relational databases, distributed databases, and cloud databases, including Azure Blob, Azure DB, Databricks, DynamoDB, and SQL Server.
