About the position
APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design, develop and support personal assistant software for communication applications. Write code to implement features for iOS, watchOS and other on-device operating systems as well as server-side components. Work with design teams on specifications for future features, provide technical design specs, documentation and support for the delivered features for collaboration with quality engineering and other engineering teams. Responsible for writing unit, component and integration tests for Siri Messages and also for maintaining and tracking test coverage for product areas. Investigate production metrics and screen incoming problem and enhancement requests, from both internal and external consumers of the product. Responsible for analysis of trends, identifying issues and working with data and privacy teams to make sure the data is reliable and conforms to the strict privacy requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with developing software systems using Java, Swift / Objective-C, or Python.
- Experience in testing and debugging complex multi-layer distributed software systems.
- Experience in software systems design and cross-functional product specification development.
- Experience working with distributed hybrid technology systems on large scale, communication and transport protocols and security.
- Experience in data structures, algorithms and patterns, optimization problem solving, performance and efficiency evaluation.
- Experience using XML, JSON, MacOS, Unix/Linux, or Shell to deploy server side logic, scripting, and software configuration on client server devices.
- Experience working on and maintaining user-facing products used by millions of users.
