About The Position

This role is pivotal for enhancing the productivity, security, and reliability of engineering teams by building and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that powers software development. The Software Engineer will focus on CI/CD systems, local development environments, and tools that streamline workflows while ensuring high-quality, secure software delivery. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will tackle complex technical challenges and directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering teams across the organization. This position offers the chance to influence the developer experience at scale, contribute to mission-critical security projects, and drive improvements across the full software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems or platform infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience with Python.
  • Proven experience in roles focused on Engineering Effectiveness, Developer Productivity, or Development Infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver complex projects from conception to production.
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience gathering requirements and feedback from internal engineering teams.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, development tooling, and automated workflows is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and development tools to enhance engineering productivity.
  • Set up and improve local development environments for engineers to streamline workflow and reduce friction.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify needs and implement solutions that improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to planning, code reviews, standups, and other software development lifecycle activities.
  • Deliver complex infrastructure projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, security, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineers on infrastructure best practices and workflow optimization.
  • Actively participate in internal initiatives to improve developer experience and support cybersecurity objectives.
