About the position

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineer, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. You will review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Experience with Ab Initio CogtOp System, GDE Unix systems, Ab Initio batch processes and scripting GitHub.
• Proficient with Oracle messaging systems like KAFKA or IBM MQ.
• Experienced with Ab Initio components that work with messaging systems like KAFKA.
• Experience converting database objects to JSON.
• Experienced with dealing with large volumes of data for batch processes.
• Experienced with performance tuning batch processes.
• Experienced with creating asynchronous micro batches doing nonlinear batch processes.
• Familiar with Autosys.
• Familiar or experience with Mainframe.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Ab Initio Continuous graphs.
