About The Position

ADP is hiring a
Software Engineer (AI Solutions) to support the development of
enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions within our Product Development
organization. This role focuses on building intelligent, multi-step AI workflows
powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) that integrate seamlessly with ADP
platforms and services.

This is an opportunity for an early/mid-career developer to expand their
expertise in AI-driven product capabilities within a secure, scalable, and
client-focused environment.

Requirements

• You’ll have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in software development with AI capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Foundational understanding of agentic AI concepts (state management, orchestration, context handling, tool integration)
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering

Nice To Haves

• Experience with agent frameworks such as (EMA, LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar)
• Exposure to RAG architectures and enterprise AI deployment patterns
• Interest in or exposure to MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tracking in production environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance agentic AI applicationsusing LLMs and orchestration frameworks such as EMA, LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar technologies
• Design multi-step agent workflows incorporating tool-calling, memory, orchestration, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Integrate AI agents with backend services, enterprise APIs, and diverse data sources
• Contribute to LLM evaluation, guardrails, observability, human-in-the-loop feedback processes, and production monitoring
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to support scalable deployment and lifecycle management of AI solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and agile delivery practices
