U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – Cloud Data Computing (multiple positions) in Cupertino, CA. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud systems using Airflow and Kubernetes, as well as developing various features for automated data pipelines. The engineer will architect and implement complex workflows to automate data operations and deploy cloud infrastructure to support application development and deployment processes. Additionally, the position requires developing Python and Scala based programming services for the Bank’s technological products while ensuring compliance and security best practices are followed.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud systems using Airflow and Kubernetes.
  • Design and develop various features for automated data pipelines.

  • Develop Python and Scala based programming services for the Bank’s technological products.
  • Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
  • Participate in software design discussions to set priorities for product development.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with Azure cloud computing services and tools.
  • 2 years of experience running containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • 2 years of experience with Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
  • 2 years of experience with unit and system testing.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, C++, Java, Intellij, Junit, Mockito, Scala, and Python.
