We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong interest in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure, while gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, automation, and observability tools. In this position, you will be building Cloud based infrastructure, devops, automation, and tooling to monitor and ensure our platform service to meet Truveta's high quality standards. This opportunity requires creative problem solving and a strong appetite for exploration into different approaches to monitor and reason over big data at scale.

  • Support the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on Azure.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient development and release cycles.
  • Work with Kubernetes (K8s) clusters to support containerized workload, applications.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams on data pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in implementing security best practices across infrastructure.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system observability.
  • Contribute to documentation and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues in cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, security and other engineers.
  • Innovate using strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in the cloud infrastructure domain.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered).
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code).
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of networking, security concepts, and system administration fundamentals.
  • Interest in data pipelines and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Knowledge of tools such as Terraform, or Helm for infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
  • Experience in cloud security.
  • Scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.

  • The base pay for this position is $94,000 to $120,000.
