As a software engineer in the Database Engine Org, you will join as a key member to contribute to Storage optimization products like Liquid Clustering and Predictive Optimization. In addition, you will have opportunities to design and implement in many areas that leapfrog existing systems: Query compilation and optimization Distributed query execution and scheduling Vectorized engine execution Resource Management Transaction coordination Efficient storage structures (encoding, indexes) Automatic physical data optimization You will be involved in the entire development cycle and exemplify all core Databricks values (own-it, data decide, teamwork, customer-obsessed).
