Responsibilities

  • Shape the way physicians engage with and consume medical content by building and enhancing features that deliver timely, relevant updates.
  • Drive technical improvements across the stack (Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS), ensuring the Newsfeed and supporting products are robust, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Work within a cross-functional team to translate product vision into practical, user-focused solutions that improve the overall platform experience.
  • Continuously iterate on existing features, leveraging analytics and user feedback to optimize for engagement, usability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and supporting team growth.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring the Newsfeed remains a trusted and reliable resource for physicians.

Requirements

  • Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver functional solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in small product and engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with data engineering stacks such as Python, MySQL, Spark, and Airflow.
