Software Engineer/Full Stack
About The Position
Own feature development for Advisor: design, implement, test and deploy production features (Python backend + modern JS/TS frontend). Collaborate with product, clinical SMEs, and revenue cycle teams to iterate quickly and validate hypotheses. Use Claude Code as a development collaborator: prompt it, review and edit its output, and integrate its work into the codebase and CI pipelines. Design and implement integrations to external APIs for evidence/medical data, ensuring correctness and auditability. Maintain a strong testing culture: unit, integration and E2E tests; continuous delivery via Docker and Kubernetes. Be a pragmatic engineer – ship fast, iterate from real user feedback, and improve systems for scale and reliability. Communicate clearly in writing: design proposals, PR descriptions, and conversations with revenue cycle teams and collaborators.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of work experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (full-stack comfort).
- Comfortable writing and reading a lot of code, and strong habits around testing and automation.
- Experience with or eagerness to use Claude Code as a collaborator for software development — you’re comfortable with AI-assisted workflows and want to push them forward.
- Startup experience and a proven track record of building projects 0→1 (and iterating quickly).
- Production experience with Postgres (data modeling, migrations, performance).
- Comfortable with Docker and modern deployment workflows.
- Comfort working independently and owning user feedback end-to-end
- Excellent written communication
Nice To Haves
- Bias toward action over perfection; self-directed but highly collaborative.
- Previous experience building or shipping an agent/advisor product or other agentic systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Clinical or health-data domain experience (helpful for working with evidence sources).
- Experience building or maintaining in-browser integrations
