About the position

We’re seeking a talented, driven, and passionate Software Engineer to help us maintain and improve multiple existing products on various platforms. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our catalog games' stability, performance, and quality post-launch. Working closely with our development, QA, and production teams, you will investigate and resolve technical issues reported by players, implement updates and patches, and help optimize our titles on various platforms. Your efforts will directly impact our players’ experiences, and you’ll be instrumental in delivering the high standard of support our community expects. Responsibilities

  • Own and improve our catalog games.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues players report across various platforms (mobile, web, desktop).
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and production teams to identify, diagnose, and fix bugs.
  • Implement updates, patches, and hotfixes to maintain game stability and performance.
  • Monitor game health and analytics to identify potential issues proactively.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to production and internal teams regarding support incidents and resolutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of issues, solutions, and support processes.
  • Contribute to improving internal tools and workflows related to game support and maintenance.
  • Stay on top of shifting and evolving platform requirements (particularly mobile).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the games industry.
  • Demonstrable and substantial experience with Unity.
  • Proficiency in C#.
  • Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
  • Understanding of debugging tools and techniques for games.
  • Experience working with issue tracking using JIRA.
  • Ability to read and interpret crash logs and error reports.
  • Familiarity with build pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Comfortable working with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, and/or mobile).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of platform certification processes (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam).
