  • Work with multiple survivability disciplines to help design and define requirements for new software and or existing in-house software.
  • Actively develop, test, demo, and deploy new and or existing in-house software.
  • Help team execute software roadmaps for the survivability department.
  • Help specific survivability disciplines automate their engineering tools and processes to capture productivity gains.
  • Work with P&W Government Security department to ensure in-house tools are safe for use within classified information systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
  • Experience with common programming languages (C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Rust, and or FORTRAN).
  • Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas.
  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience.
  • Experience with the creation of common work products such as software requirement documents, software design documents, user manuals, release notes, installation instructions, methodology memos, and job tickets.
  • Experience or knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles.
  • Experience with GitHub/ZenHub to manage software versioning and tasks.
  • Experience writing software for engineering/scientific applications.
  • Experience using Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools like Coverity, Sonar Qube, and Checkmarx.
  • Active Security Clearance (Secret or Higher).
  • Relocation will be offered for those who qualify.
  • Selected candidate will be automatically enrolled in the P&W Engineering Development Program (Rotational Program within P&W).
  • Eligible for the Employee Scholar Program on Day 1.
