About The Position

As a Software Engineer at Extend, you will build the product features that power our Expense Management platform. You will operate as a fullstack developer within a highly collaborative and cross-functional team that takes features from ideation to production every week. You’ll join a team that values synchronous collaboration and prioritizes shared outcomes.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in software development
Strong understanding of object-oriented software development
Familiar with React/Typescript and other modern frontend frameworks
Curious to use AI tooling to push the boundaries of what you can accomplish and learn
Experience learning and working within large codebases

Nice To Haves

Bonus points for experience with Kotlin

Responsibilities

Build and ship product features end-to-end, contributing production code across our stack.
Execute on challenging technical problems while staying grounded in why the work exists, not just how to implement a solution.
Work closely with teammates across engineering, product, and design.

Uphold a high bar for code quality, reliability, and maintainability, while avoiding over-engineering.
