We are seeking a highly talented Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Tractor Zoom. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development and architecture of a world-class, scalable solution tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. You will help accelerate the development of our products, strengthen our process and grow our engineering culture. As an employee at our early-stage data and technology company, you will have a deep impact in the success and growth of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 0–2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency or demonstrated experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Ability to write reliable, clean, and maintainable code.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS or cloud experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • #1 Priority – Build great software that our customers and users will love.
  • Develop features and functionality for our Sales Platform and Data solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, gaining exposure to decisions around scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to team standards.
  • Support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Apply security best practices to protect the integrity and confidentiality of user data.
  • Proactively learn new technologies, trends, and industry best practices relevant to our stack and domain.
  • Other duties as assigned.
