This team supports mission-critical storage systems—including the core Storage platform and Azure Disks—ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for some of the world’s most demanding AI workloads. You will collaborate with talented engineers to deliver next-generation systems that advance distributed storage and cloud technologies. As a Software Engineer II - Azure Storage, you will drive enhancements for our storage control plane and disks platform to meet the demands of rapidly growing AI-scale workloads. Your role will include driving AI-powered innovations to help Azure Storage scale effectively, resolving system bottlenecks, optimizing performance, and improving resiliency. You will also work across organizational boundaries to support a wide range of Azure products, expanding your influence and contributing to platform-wide improvements. This opportunity offers a chance to deepen your expertise in distributed systems, Azure Storage, and Azure Disks, while sharpening both technical and leadership skills. You will play a key role in developing advanced solutions that support global AI applications and contribute to the evolution of cloud infrastructure.
