Position Summary Develops solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design and architectural patterns and Agile practices. Ensures the system design and requirements are aligned to achieve desired business outcomes. Provides expertise through experience with multiple and complex software implementations and has developed knowledge for a number of technical competencies. This position supports a Tier 1 pricing application called PIPER that sets interest rate and fee pricing for the Consumer Bank. This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of Job related experience required
• Experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications for business or functional areas.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse development platforms, technologies, tools, and hardware/software environments.
• Experience participating in the design, development, and implementation of complex or modernized applications, including exposure to emerging technologies.
• Proven capability as a seasoned technical resource, able to troubleshoot independently and provide high‑quality solutions with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading project activities or coordinating workstreams, including directing the efforts of team members involved in special initiatives or operational tasks (no direct management required).
• Ability to collaborate with external or third‑party developers to ensure successful delivery and integration of software solutions.
• Strong accountability for technical expertise, solution quality, and adherence to best practices.
• Comfortable operating under general guidance from senior consultants while managing day‑to‑day tasks autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
• Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
• Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
• Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
