Responsibilities
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of applicable experience
- Strong Development experience in Java (Core or Full Stack)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Understanding of the Equities product domain, understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong design and programming skills including working on Big Data technologies
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Flink, or related platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working with Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure /GCP) projects is highly desirable
