As a part of the Vertex Agent E2E Quality team, you will accelerate the evolution and productionization of enterprise AI Agents by building tools/platforms for evaluating, simulating and optimizing agents.

You will collaborate with Google DeepMind (GDM) to advance foundational model agentic capabilities, partner with Gemini enterprise to elevate core assistant quality, and work with agent builder to drive simulation and optimization features.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with state of the art GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with AI agent development, agent simulation and evaluation and agent quality and model tuning.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices amongst available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Build rigorous agentic benchmarks and high-fidelity Reinforcement learning (RL) environments to assess and enhance foundational model capabilities.
• Optimize Enterprise AI Agent end-to-end quality via novel orchestration, advanced prompt/context engineering, and model tuning.
• Engineer algorithms and features for agent simulation, evaluation, and optimization within Vertex Agent Builder (focusing on ADK and Agent Engine).
