As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. About the team: Our team develops scalable, high-performance software solutions supporting post-purchase customer journeys, including order lifecycle management, fulfillment orchestration, delivery visibility, exception handling, and returns. We build reliable, customer-focused platforms that minimize order friction, enhance transparency, and improve operational efficiency through automation and intelligent workflows. Collaborating closely with product, data, and operations teams, we design and maintain mission-critical systems serving millions of users. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software design, development, and automated deployments.
  • 5+ years- Hands on experience building Java-based systems and experience of working in cloud-based solutions is a must.
  • Should be proficient in Java and Kafka
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies including generative artificial intelligence and DevOps tools.
  • Comfortable taking full ownership of data infrastructure, from architecture to deployment.
  • A good understanding of, Data Structures, Algorithms & Problem Solving
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex production issues effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, project, business, and user experience teams to define high-level design and technical solutions for projects.
  • Develop, write, and test code ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements, including security and scalability standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and coordinated action plans.
  • Manage project tasks, communicate status, and ensure timely delivery and hand-offs across cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and guide small engineering groups, providing documentation, direction, and support.
  • Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to enhance continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Conduct testing, defect management, and performance monitoring to maintain application quality and reliability.
